What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get something changed.
What the index contains
Launch records are built from publicly available information: the page a website serves to any visitor, its title and description, a screenshot of that page, and the time we first saw it live. We don’t sign in to anything, don’t bypass access controls, and don’t collect personal data from the sites we observe beyond what the page itself publishes.
Accounts
Signing in is optional and uses Google. We store your verified email address and display name so we can attribute your votes and comments. We never receive or store your Google password, and we don’t keep your Google access tokens.
Launch Check
When you run a check we store the URL you submitted and the findings, so the report is there when you come back. Reports are private to your account. We don’t publish them or share them with the site owner.
Reports
Abuse reports are private to moderators. You don’t need an account to file one. We keep a hashed form of the reporter's network address to spot abuse of the report form itself, not to identify people.
Getting something removed
If you own a site listed here and want the record corrected or removed, email [email protected] or use the report form on the listing. Removal is permanent: once a record is delisted it won’t come back if we see the site again.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we’ll say so on this page rather than quietly editing it.
